SUBDOMAINS:

1. Telecom System Engineering Tools: Covering all aspects related to satellite telecom system and subsystem analysis, design tools and methodologies.
2. Telecom Signal Processing: Covering all signal processing techniques and algorithms related to coding/decoding, modulation/demodulation, access, synchronisation, medium access control.
3. Networking Techniques: Covering telecom satellite networking aspects related to radio resource management, network management and control aspects, traffic modelling, etc.
4. Telecom Equipment: Covering all baseband telecom equipment (e.g. modulators, demodulators, front-ends). Used for fixed, mobile and broadcast satellite or hybrid satellite/terrestrial telecom systems, also including user terminals.
