It comprises all the technologies related with aircraft structures: materials (metallic, non-metallic and composites), manufacturing processes (including advanced ones like AM), design and analysis (including aeroelasticity, buckling, vibrations and acoustics), internal noise measurements, prediction and reduction (including helicopter aero-acoustics) as well as: smart materials and structures and aircraft security.
