DEFINITION:
Activity on internal noise prediction consists of the development, improvement and validation of experimental and numerical methods for the prediction and the reduction of internal noise (aeroplane, helicopter, launcher). This activity is a part of the Vibration and Vibroacoustic domain. To solve an Internal Noise Problem, we need the knowledge of the excitation sources, the dynamic behaviour of the structure, the propagation way of the vibration in the structure and in the internal fluid.
