It comprises all the technologies related with aircraft motion starting with open loop stability analysis (without pilot or autopilot interference) and including then the piloting (flight mechanics). Performance analysis and its optimization allow to define the best flight envelopes and failure, damage and hazard analyses allows to prevent accidents and incidents and react better when they appear
