Who we are

NAITEC is a technology center created in 2018 as a result of the merger of several existing centers in Navarra; that is why the average accumulated experience of the center’s staff is about 15 years. NAITEC currently has capabilities in mechanical testing and simulation, development of applications with autonomous aerial vehicles, embedded electronics in composite material, functional printing, composite material, artificial intelligence and connected mobility among others.

NAITEC’s main activity is centered around the Mobility and Mechatronics business units. In addition, this activity is supported by the testing capacity offered by its Technological Services business unit and by the development capacity of new strategic sectors supported by the New Business unit.

Main lines of research

The main lines are articulated around: mechanical testing and simulation, development of applications with autonomous aerial vehicles, embedded electronics in composite material, functional printing, composite material, artificial intelligence and connected mobility.

  • Autonomous systems

Development of autonomous and collaborative systems, including UGVs, UAVs, robotic systems and the elements that support them, including the technologies listed below. This line is centralized in NAITEC’s Autonomous Systems Laboratory.

  • Autonomous systems

Development of structural, fluid dynamic and systems simulation. Generation of virtual scenarios for system simulation and automation support components.

  • Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis

Development of functionalities and applications through the use of artificial intelligence and data analysis. Process improvement. Image analysis to obtain information. Artificial Intelligence Lab for fine-tuning and functionalities development

  • Functional printing

Functional printing by means of different technologies and on multiple materials (paper, fiber, plastic, etc). Hybridization of components to increase the functionality of printed elements
