Who we are
ITG is a non-profit R&D center established in 1991 as a private foundation. ITG is a technological center of reference at regional and national level, with a constant international projection. In Spain, it is recognized as an OTRI-Research Results Transfer Office (registration number 153) and as a National Technology Center (registration number 115), and is a member, among others, of the Governing Council of FEDIT – Spanish Federation of Innovation and Technology Entities, which it currently chairs. Its staff combines scientific knowledge with extensive business experience, in order to address the industrial technological demand from an integral perspective. Its main areas of activity are “Sensorics”, “ICT”, “Unmanned aerial systems (UAS)”, “Energy efficiency”, “Construction and sustainability” and “Efficient water management”. The center has more than 15 years of experience in the development of monitoring and control systems based on sensors and convergent with the IoT approach, which has favored in the last 5 years its specialization and positioning as a reference in the UAS sector.
Main lines of research
ITG’s UAS technical team brings an aggregate experience of more than 20 years in various technological areas, from automatic flight systems, ground control software or unmanned air traffic management (UTM), through detection and collision avoidance systems based on artificial vision. In recent years, ITG has established itself as a reference center in R&D&I applied to the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) or Urban Air Mobility (UAM), highlighting its experience and scientific-technological capacity in key areas such as:
Main R&D&I projects
ITG has positioned itself in recent years as a technological center of reference in the UAS ecosystem, participating in national and international projects with some of the leading companies in the sector.
